You are your best investment

"Your skills, knowledge and social capital will emerge unscathed on the other side of the re-set wormhole."

- Charles Hugh Smith

The world is being re-organised and that is likely to result in a certain degree of chaos.

At the moment this is most obvious in the geo-political arena where deeply entrenched systems are being challenged, vested interests revealed andempires are starting to crumble.

Forget the personality politics, the alarmist headlines, the mud-slinging and name calling. The real issue is the removal of the US Dollar as the world's reserve currency. Ignore the proclaimed love of democracy or human rights or "peace-keeping", the years of war, and destruction of, the Middle East, was always about the Dollar.

What we are living through is a system re-set and for a time that may be chaotic, but remember that out of chaos comes order. For those wishing to create a new reality and build a world in their own likeness there has never been a better opportunity.

Given my background I have been asked frequently what is the best investment given the enormity of the change we face. My logical (traditional) answer would have rambled on about real assets, gold as an insurance policy and perhaps silver for some leverage. For the record my advice has been consistently wrong (so far) and I have stopped offering opinions and so I was pleased this morning to read some much better advice in an article by Charles Hugh Smith:

"Your skills, knowledge and social capital will emerge unscathed on the other side of the re-set wormhole. Your financial assets held in centrally controlled institutions will not."

This is much more than an economic re-set, it is shift in consciousness. The point is that all of those who have consistently invested in themselves will be beautifully positioned to create their way out of a crumbling old paradigm and will actively create the emerging one. Whether that investment has been educational, practical, emotional, or spiritual those who have been willing to look at themselves and invest in their sovereignty will weather the coming storm with greater ease than those clinging to old ideas.

Those who continue to argue for their limitations and divest their power to others will soon find that co-dependence was a feature of the old paradigm. Waiting for others to provide solutions or make things alright is likely to be a losing strategy.

This is the time the creators will come to the fore. Those who know themselves as the creators they are will find huge opportunity in the coming times. Co-creation will flourish as those prepared actively become the change they wish to see in the world.

Invest in yourself.

Love
