it's all a pack of lies...

Anyone who has ever told a lie (and I am sure that nobody reading this has) knows how exhausting it is. A lie is the product of the mind ordinarily to disguise a truth which is threatening to the ego. A lie is the construction of a false reality and this takes a lot of energy, is stressful and ultimately, as in Ayn Rand's quote above, disempowers. 

The truth is easy, effortless, needs no defense and is the source of our power.

The mind specialises in the preservation of the stories of self identity and separation, whether self generated or imposed. The stories we cultivate to form our "identity" are ultimately all lies. Whether your story is that you are English, Muslim, Communist, Socialist, Spiritualist, or whatever, it is a lie. We are all collusive in a massive lie which is why we are exhausted societaly and collectively. The lie is separation.

The mind's greatest tormentor is the heart, for the heart is our truth resonator, and the truth is dangerous to our story, as our stories are all based on separation. The heart sees through that illusion and is fearless as it operates beyond the field of time. The mind depends on time to sustain its illusion and that is its Achilles Heel. Its own belief in time leads to its inevitable demise! 

As the human race ties itself in knots trying to perpetuate a lie, the truth sits patiently, observing with love and compassion, for it knows that separation is the illusion which makes this game so compelling.
