Thunder
Thunder
August is lining up to be a doozy. I have already written about some of the environmental, political and economic possibilities encouraged by the equivalent of a celestial rave. A partial lunar eclipse (7th), the Lions Gate (8th) and the total solar eclipse across the US (21st) should be enough to shake things up.
However, I was reminded this weekend that these events are rarely, in fact never, simply external. 2017 has afforded me the opportunity to take a look in a lot of cupboards that would rather have been left untouched and I have been blessed to be surrounded by the people tools and teachers to get me so far in that process.
I wouldn't say I was sufficiently pleased with myself to have the day off on Saturday but I did find myself drifting into a blissful afternoon sleep. The type of sleep where dreams are lucid and malleable, and one hour feels like four. That is until I was woken by what has to be the loudest thunder clap in the history of the universe, at least that was how it sounded and felt to me.
To say I was startled is more than an understatement. Anyhow, this amazing event seemed to go unnoticed by anyone I questioned, or at least where it was noticed it was not in the same way I had noticed it. It made me uneasy and I felt it to be quite literally a wake up call.
Needless to say events in the short hours since that clap of thunder have certainly confirmed my suspicions. Back to the cupboards for me!
If August does get a bit tough for you remember that we are in the midst of the most incredible times. Remember we volunteered for the job. And most of all remember you are loved in the most unimaginable ways.
Good luck for August, who knows it might be fun!
