Emergents See No Emergency

There are currently two worlds co-existing. One is fading rapidly, losing relevance, caught unawares by the pace of change. That world is in a State of Emergency. The other is a world of possibility and expansion viewed through a different lens. This is the world the Emergents See.

The Emergency

This part of the essay is deliberately brief as to give attention to the existing issues facing the world is to view it through the lens of the old paradigm which exists in a distorted reality of lack, separatism and survival. The available information in that paradigm is doctored to create an illusion of emergency, which ironically and/or inevitably has now turned into one. To expend energy describing the short comings of a fading paradigm is to feed it and I prefer to pay attention to the famous Buckminster Fuller quote and concentrate attention on creating the new, 

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete ~ Buckminster Fuller

However, it is worth looking at the definition of an emergency, particularly the idea that something happens suddenly or unexpectedly. 

 Emergency - something dangerous or serious that happens suddenly or unexpectedly and needs fast action in order to avoid harmful results.

The inevitable exhaustion of a patriarchal, hierarchical system comes only as a surprise to those immersed within it. The lack of awareness, hubris and insensitivity of such an operating system means its collapse is only unexpected to those with those qualities. Those married to that system are currently making a lot of noise...my suggestion is to ignore it.

To those with any degree of awareness the current results are neither surprising nor harmful, and, just as Buckminster Fuller explains, not even relevant. To those with the awareness the existing system is already obsolete and they are too busy creating the emerging reality to give attention to the death cries of a fading paradigm. I call this group the Emergents.

Emergent - the process of coming into being or becoming prominent

The term emergent is used to describe the top layer of a rain forest...emergent trees, protruding as they do, each at some distance from neighboring emergents, bear the full brunt of all extremes of weather. 

The human equivalent is a tribe which represent the latest step in human evolution. Prepared to reach beyond the accepted and dictated, this group have embraced their acute sensitivity to play the field rather than playing with what's already in it. The field is, after all, the sole governing agency of the particle, at least Einstein thought so. If you are going to create you might as well get as close to the source of creation as possible, you might as well dive into the field.

The Emergents' relationship with the field allows them to create from a less conditioned space, with less restriction and greater sovereignty. They dance with life rather than attempt to control it or control others relationship with it.

Being an Emergent has taken resilience, can be isolating and requires incredible adaptability and awareness, but these are qualities which are the pre-requisites of evolutionary advance. The Emergents are the progeny of the Imaginals, an even smaller population who have quite literally dreamed a better world into existence, and they are bringing that dream to life, making that dream matter. And as the definition of emergent explains, this group are becoming prominent.

Don't let their sensitivity fool you. The Emergents may appear meek but they are rapidly inheriting the Earth. The Emergency as perceived by the fading paradigm is barely perceptible to this group as they are busily creating in harmony with a unified field as opposed to seeking new ways to exploit it.

To the Emergents the terms "frequency", "energy", "vibration", "resonance" and "coherence" are not spiritual metaphors or new age cliches to be dismissed by intellectual scientific arrogance but form the basis of the language of the field. Much of what forms reality in the field is an impossibility viewed through the lens of the old paradigm and will never be available to that level of consciousness. That does not mean however that it isn't available or possible to the Emergents.
