A Bird in a Cage
A Bird in a Cage
"I don't need to read your mind, your soul has already told me your intentions".
Mehran Keshe
Whenever I visit my Dad in his care home, I feel saddened to see a bird cage in the corner. Two beatiful birds hop from perch to perch living a limited existence which seems to miss the whole point of their being. Dad's dementia has a firm grip on him and spending time with him is like watching those birds. He is in there somewhere but he is locked in a cage of his continued physical presence, neither able to live fully nor fly away.
A couple of weeks ago he attempted to escape, not from the care home but from the cage. He had an infection and was not responding. In a panic the care home rushed him into hospital, against our explicit instructions, and set about "saving" his life.
I know Dad had chosen to leave because at the time they were taking him into hospital I was by his side in my dream. In that dream I was holding Dad's hand taking him from place to place collecting his possessions (or memories). In the dream we were in the reception of the final hotel, quite literally checking Dad out. He was calm and aware and suddenly expanded to about ten times his normal size. There was no doubt in my mind he was leaving, and happily so.
At that point of my dream I was awoken by the phone ringing. It was the hospital informing me that they had managed to get Dad back in his cage. They had kept him alive.
Our Soul - A bird in a cage
Our soul is a non-physical entity and obeys non-physical laws. It is a plasmatic body producing fields, just like the sun. The soul is itself a field within a field, intimately connected to its source and at the same time free to express. In order to express physically it must create an interference pattern with another soul which is itself a field within the same field emitted from the same source.
In this current experience the field of our soul interacts with the field of the planet Earth and the resultant interference pattern is our physical body, the progeny of our soul and the soul of the Earth. We are a ripple or wave-form on the surface of the source field, the result of two disturbances in the field interacting, both intimately linked to the same source. In that expression we remain connected to and affected by all other disturbances in the field (which is why astrology works). Those disturbances are all movements of fields attempting to restore balance or harmony, with the stronger field feeding the weaker field in obeyance of universal law. That movement is the seed of life.
Our physicality has its own soul which in order to continue in its current expression needs to be fed from our soul, just as an infant feeds from its mother. To ensure its survival our physicality contains our soul in the centre of our head. The soul is held in place not by the physical structure, remember it is a non-physical entity, but by field effects from the blood flowing around our head. Simplistically, blood contains iron and its movement generates a magnetical/gravitational field which acts like a Faraday cage, holding the soul in place. (Think in terms of the Earths magnetosphere).
When we die the heart stops pumping and the blood flow stops. This disables the field setting the soul free to explore the universe beyond the 'protective' embrace of our physicality and planet Earth, allowing it to express in a bigger playground. Something similar happens when we sleep as a change in the field generated by our blood allows the soul out to play. We call it dreaming. These dream states can be measured in terms of brain frequency but are actually plasmatic field effects.
We don't have to die or dream to release the soul, we can do this by affecting the field effect of the blood around the cranium. The field effect of the blood is to an extent determined by the emotions of the physicality, (for emotions include thoughts because they really are the same thing). Fear of loss in the physical realm strenghens the field immeasurably. Realisation of connection and love loosen the field. This is why Bhuddists practicce detachment as it creates the environment which releases the soul.
When the soul is released and the physicality is still vital you have an enlightened being on your hands! The halo depicted around the Masters is a representation of the Soul containing the physical. For the soul to encompass the physical is, I believe, our purpose here on Earth.
Removing attachment, literally as well as figuratively, does not end our physical expression, it just gives us the choice of how and where to express in the universe. It is in this state that we experience free will. This has profound implications for the way we experience the physical and is what is meant when people speak of living from fear or love. When the physical soul and the soul operate in harmony or coherence we realise our true human potential. When attached to the physical there is no free will, simply alternative survival choices and the resultant suffering.
When the well meaning carers intervened in Dad's choice they were acting from the physical. It was fear disguised as love. Had they seen Dad's soul they would have chosen differently. It is our physicality's existential fear which turns it into a cage and it is this cage that keeps us attached to our physicality and in so doing prevents our soul, the bird, our True essence, from travelling the expanse of the universe.
Incarnate enlightened beings have opened the bird cage and the bird chose to return.
The bird cage analogy is borrowed from the teachings of Keshe. I have not shared much of his work of late but his technology is about to have a huge impact on the planet. I will share more in the next blog but in the meantime it is worth noting once again, as i have said many times before, we are the technology. Your spirirual work, whether you are aware of it or not, is to create an environment that releases your soul, stepping beyond fear and living from a different understanding, a different physics and a different motivation. You will inevitably realise these other dimensions, it just might be fun to do so bringing your physicality along for the ride!
Much love
