Who are you waiting for?
Who are you waiting for?
One of the most common frustrations among those waking up to a new reality is the insistence of those around them to stay asleep. "When are they going to wake up?" or "when are they going to get it?" is asked as frequently as "Why cant they see the truth?"
There seems to be a belief that our own shift in consciousness is somehow dependent upon a collective move or more commonly a shift in those close to us. Waiting for our partner to 'get it' or our family and friends to join in our amazing realisations is not only disrespectful, it is a an indication of a misplaced attention point.
Those in our world are mirrors and if 'they' don't 'get it'... guess what?...neither do we. Our frustration at the world's lack of consciousness is our frustration at ourselves. It is an indication that we are holding a conceptual, ordinarily romanticised, idea of awakening, as opposed to embodying what we aspire to at an experiential level.
Look inward for evidence of the shift of consciousness. As we embody love to an extent which includes ourselves, our external may well reflect a more conscious experience, but from that space it won't matter either way.
Be the love you are,
Bill
