Casting Pearls

I have seen a couple of incredible young men recently. 

Both were referred to us because of the challenges they have adapting to society. 

As ever the "problem" was immediately obvious to us....hypersensitivity.

As ever the "problem" isn't really theirs. Yet they and their families bear the burden of the "problem". 

Simply put, these young men have evolved faster than society. They are caught between paradigms, equipped with a sensitivity and refinement beyond the imagination of a system arguing over the best deckchair on the Titanic.

Ironically, these guys are driven to the extremes of the survival behaviour they have been born to transcend and are viewed by most societal measures as dysfunctional. The lunatics really have taken over the asylum.

The curse of these guys, which makes their experience particularly tough, is they seem immune to the usual programming which has "domesticated" entire populations (myself included). Their sense of justice continually lands them in trouble. The justice of which I speak is not some man made book of laws, but a sense of consistency and truth. 

They would rather be punished than be a party to the lies we all collude in and as a result find themselves on the wrong side of the rules. They are seen as the "problem". I see them as the emerging solution.

So many acutely sensitive and highly evolved souls are being marginalised by a society which may well benefit from embracing their sensitivities as signposts to our evolution.

I think the bible alluded to this in Matthew:

"Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces."

I hope we can continue to Create a Space for the holy, however well disguised they are!
