Notice What You Notice

The way the self arrays itself is the form of the entire world...  Dogen Zenji

How is your self arrayed?

If you want the answer, take a look at the world. What you see will be unique to you although apparently shared by everyone.

When you look at the world be present to the experience. Really notice what you notice as opposed to noticing what you expect to notice.

"Reality" is fragile and susceptible to influence. Our experience is too often dictated by probability rather than possibility, and we are continually fed information designed to dictate the probable.

If you want to see the possibility inherent in your human nature rather than the probability of the survival story really pay attention to the present moment.

You may be surprised to notice an absence of fear, an absence of emotion, an absence of thought.

In the absence of those distractions you are left with a creative space, the vessel of possibility, the source of all creation.

With love
